Our spin-off Vawlt Technologies integrated the delegation of 9 startups that Startup Portugal selected to participate in Hannover Messe, the biggest industry fair in the world that was organized from the 30th of May to the 2nd of June. This was an opportunity that was open up to national startups to join 100 more portuguese companies that AICEP took to this conference under the moto “Portugal Makes Sense”, and that was supported by the national government, in a joint effort to atract German investment to our country and showcase the many good solutions we have that might be crucial to Industry 4.0 trends.
On the 1st of June Vawlt did it’s pitch to an audience of investors, AICEP members and general atendees of the conference, and on that same afternoon they had a meeting with Mário Campolargo, the Portuguese Secretary of State for Digitization and Public Administration Modernization, which was very productive for the feedback received and for the prospect of future meetings to showcase their technology in some public administration entities. The delegation also took part on a number of networking events that made it possible to meet national and international relevant stakeholders.
In the words of José Carlos Silva, Head of Sales of Vawlt, “the event and our participation in it results in a very positive feedback as it allowed us to make new contacts for potential partnerships, boost our business and also work on the international projection of Vawlt brand”. Let’s see what the future holds for them after this event!
