Last Friday, October 13, we were at LISPOLIS celebrating the achievements of the Call INNOV-ID promoted by Agência Nacional de Inovação and Portugal Ventures, which has funded in the past 3 years more than 55 innovative projects/startups born in the Portuguese scientific and technological ecosystem with more than 5,5 million Euros.
On this third call, as an Ignition Partner of Portugal Ventures, we are proud to announce that we have managed to help two startups from our ecosystem to secure investment of 100 thousand Euros each, namely: Generosa, a startup focused on developing environmental and sustainable products that help a new wave of house plant owners to better take care of them; and KeepIT, our newest spin-off from Ciências ULisboa that is focusing on a new technology targeted at energy storage essential for the energy transition we are in deep need to fight climate change.
We are proud partners of this initiative that is doing so much to stimulate and facilitate technology transfer processes in Portugal and so were very happy to hear from a fourth call that is just now open until November, 22. All innovative projects from Ciências ULisboa or from our incubator Tec Labs can count on our support for their applications!
These two investments are also joined by a third one we raised in 2021, during the first call, and through which, R-Nuucell, another spin-off from Ciências ULisboa raised investment.
