Last Friday and Saturday, we collaborated with Just Ciências to deliver a Hackathon focused on SDG number 3 – Quality Education.
For almost 12 intensive hours, 3 groups of students were challenged to create an innovative solution that could contribute towards a more inclusive education and present it to a group of experienced judges.
On the first day, students got in touch with learning tools such as design thinking and BMC (in a workshop delivered by Rita Tomé Rocha) to start consolidating their ideas and building their solutions.
Then a mentoring session with members of Tec Labs’ ecosystem followed to challenge them on the practicality and feasibility of the solution.
Lastly, two more workshops, on how to build a prototype (with Ana Prata) and on how to create a pitch (Happy Code) finished the day.
The second day was a day dedicated to pitch construction and the final presentations.
