Tec Labs is proud to announce that two of its resident startups, KeepIt and Delta Soluções, have been awarded Startup Vouchers for “New Green and Digital Products”. This prestigious recognition provides each startup with a financial grant of 30,000 euros to support the development of innovative projects in the green and digital sectors.
The Startup Vouchers program is designed to stimulate the growth of startups that contribute to the green and digital transition, supporting business models, products, or services that promote environmental sustainability and digital transformation. Eligible projects must demonstrate high resource efficiency, help reduce pollution, foster the circular economy, provide new energy production solutions, or leverage Open Data or Artificial Intelligence.
KeepIt and Delta Soluções have been recognized for their forward-thinking approaches in these fields, and the financial support will empower them to further develop their innovative solutions. This funding can be used across several key areas, including:
- Startup growth and acceleration: Funding startups in their early stages or for participation in ignition and acceleration programs.
- Development of pilot projects: Supporting startups in demonstrating the efficacy of their technology or business model through pilot projects.
The Startup Vouchers provide a non-repayable grant to startups that are less than 10 years old and have the legal status of a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME). This initiative aligns with the growing need for innovative solutions that address climate challenges while supporting the digital transformation of industries.
KeepIt is a Ciências ULisboa spin-off born from the PhD research of its founding partners and it is set to launch an innovative energy storage technology that will contribute to the success of the energy transition. This technology has the potential to be applied across various market segments, from home solar systems in developing countries to grid support in developed nations
Delta Soluções is a company dedicated to providing innovative digital solutions that help businesses thrive. They develop custom web platforms, from institutional websites to e-commerce portals, ensuring a strong online presence for their clients. Additionally, they create mobile solutions designed to enhance the user experience and bring businesses closer to their target audiences. Their software development services focus on optimizing communication and management processes, delivering applications that streamline operations for employees and improve interaction with clients and partners.
The eligible expenses covered by the voucher include human resources, technological certification, external services for digitalization, product development, marketing, equipment acquisition, intellectual property protection, and indirect costs.
