IMAGI Health, a Ciências ULisboa early-stage medtech startup, joined Lispolis Ignite Accelerator 2024 and won third place!
During the month of October, IMAGI Health participated in LISPOLIS Ignite Bootcamp 2024. This year’s accelerator was focused on HealthTech and it encompassed a series of insightful talks on vital matters such as regulatory science, access to funding and marketing, as well as practical visits and mentoring hours.
This edition included the presence of 17 startups poised to change the world of healthcare and it culminated in a Demo Day on October 30 where all startups pitched to win one of the three prizes.
IMAGI Health was founded by 4 Ciências ULisboa alumni and students and it aims to revolutionize pediatric chronic pain management leveraging hypnotherapy and virtual reality (VR).
On October 30th, IMAGI Health pitched their project in what was a very fierce competition, and won 3rd place! The award, sponsored by Campus Neurológico, will help boost the startup’s work and consolidate its mission.
In the words of Leonor de Oliveira Pires, co-founder and Head of Technology at IMAGI Health and PhD Fellow at IBEB: “LISPOLIS Ignite was the first healthtech-focused acceleration program we ever entered. We left the program feeling motivated and enriched, and of course the award was the cherry on top of the cake. It’s always great to see our work at IMAGI Health being recognized by such important entities”.
