Last Wednesday, Mafalda Carvalho, in the representation of Tec Labs, was present at ANI’s Demo Day of the Technological Scouting Programme at the Escola Superior de Biotecnologia of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
In ANI’s words, “This meeting represents the culmination of the Technological Scouting Programme, during which the Technology Transfer Offices were able to share their experiences in the management and protection of intellectual property and their Technological Portfolios”.
Some of the topics discussed during this day were the protection, management, and enhancement of intellectual property, through the sharing of experiences of some academic TTO. There was also time for some of the representatives of the companies involved, research teams and the TTO to discussing strategies that promote collaboration between the TTO and industry in Portugal.
