Today, Tec Labs had the pleasure of hosting Dipalo Ventures, a prominent Chicago-based venture capital fund, at our facilities. During this visit, we met Rafiq Ahmed, Managing Partner, who shared insightful details about their history and mission. He outlined the exciting prospects of expanding their operations to Portugal, bringing a new wave of investment opportunities to our tech ecosystem.
In addition to introducing Rafiq to Tec Labs, we showcased some of our innovative projects and startups. In particular, Delox, a successful spin-off of Ciências ULisboa. Delox has achieved remarkable progress and stands as a testament to the kind of groundbreaking innovation we foster here.
We are excited to announce that Dipalo Ventures will be returning to Tec Labs on the 19th of this month for another “Meet the Investor” event. This event will provide a valuable opportunity for our sustainability startups to engage directly with Dipalo Ventures, gaining insights into the investment landscape and potentially securing future partnerships.
We look forward to welcoming Rafiq and the Dipalo Ventures team back to Tec Labs (even if in a virtual mode) and are eager to continue exploring ways to bridge our ecosystems, fostering growth and innovation on both sides of the Atlantic.
