On February 29th we attended a Business Angels Clube de Lisboa meeting at Territórios Criativos headquarters, along with two of our incubated startups– Neroes and Raiz – in an event that gathered entrepreneurs and investors for a pitch session and networking.
The session began with a brief introduction by Isabel Neves, the club’s president, followed by a quick overview of Territórios Criativos presented by its CEO, Luís Matos Martins, where he pinpointed the importance of delivering a great pitch regardless of the startups stage and goals.
Each of the six invited startups had the chance to deliver a 10-minute pitch followed by a 5-minute Q&A where investors had the chance to clarify some points.
Neroes, a startup that aims to revolutionize mental health and performance with neuroengineering, was the first startup to take the stage and Pedro Pestana, its CEO, delivered a compelling presentation on Neroes Corporate and its mental training platform.
Raiz Vertical Farms, whose mission is to reshape the future of sustainable agriculture through innovation and technology, was represented by its CEO Emiliano Gutiérrez, in a pitch that left no one indifferent.
After the pitch session, a networking moment followed, with synergies between entrepreneurs and investors being created, in what was a rather fruitful and dynamic event.
