We are very proud to share IMAGI Health is the winner of the Entrepreneurial Academy Pitch Competition, in the student category at UniVerse.
This competition was aimed at Web Summit participants, developed by several universities, including ULisboa, with the objective of affirming the strategic role of academia in the economic and technological development of the country.
IMAGI Health was the chosen project to represent ULisboa in the student category, and was the great winner!
Founded by four Ciências ULisboa alumni and students – Raquel Sales Rebordão, Mariana de Oliveira, Inês Lima and Leonor de Oliveira Pires -, IMAGI Health is on a mission to transform pediatric chronic pain management, through an innovative combination of hypnotherapy and virtual reality (VR).

Winning the UniVerse Pitch Competition representing University of Lisbon is an incredibly proud moment for IMAGI Health. Competing against talented teams from Portugal’s leading universities pushed us to refine our vision and demonstrate how IMAGI Health can make a real impact in healthcare.
This award validates not only our project but also the support and mentorship we’ve received throughout this process. We’re deeply grateful to University of Lisbon for this platform and opportunity.
