Great news breaking from our incubee UpHill: only one month after receiving a €1M EU grant, the Portuguese health company just announced a €3.5M ($4.1M) seed round led by Brigheye and MustardSeedMAZE, raised with renewed commitments from their early supporters: Caixa Capital, Luz Saúde and Bynd. This new round will have a profound impact in UpHill’s internationalisation plans for its platform, that will also benefit from changes thanks to the money that just got in: UpHill wants to make the platform more automated, integrated and useful. Eduardo Rodrigues, CEO of UpHill, told us a bit more about this new round and his excitment about it:
